Yamaha Motor Carbon Neutrality Goal
28 June, 2022 Yamaha
ExploreJustin Lucas came into this weekend’s Bassmaster Angler of the Year competition at Lake Chatuge, Ga., with a nine-point lead in the AOY standings, and with only one angler who could catch him. After two very strong days of fishing, his lead in the AOY standings grew to 43 points. When Josh Bertrand received the call from his wife to tell him it was time to come home so he could be home for the birth of his first child, there was only one decision for him to make. Justin showed the heart of a champion and recorded 39 pounds, finishing the tournament in 7th place, and cementing his place as the 2018 Bassmaster Angler of the Year. This is the second year in a row for team Yamaha to win AOY. Justin Lucas follows team Yamaha’s Brandon Palaniuk. Congratulations, Justin!
